| Hey, everyone! There's an amazing opportunity that has presented itself. Let's not pass this up! "ANNOUNCEMENT “Golden Opportunity” Would your team like to attend an event where you can practice a new team on your robot for free and at the same time solicit new sponsors? This opportunity is open to the first 15 teams that register their intent! NASA is having a large convention at the Baltimore Convention Center and Rob Thate has opened an invitation for teams to participate in an off-season event for free. The purpose of hosting the event at the NASA convention is primarily to educate the greater NASA community about FIRST robotics. The event will be conducted on May 30, with setup for teams starting at about 7 AM. Teams will compete and be recognized for their accomplishments. Teams attending will be asked to setup complete pit displays and must be prepared to talk about their team and FIRST to potential sponsors, mentors and participants! If you are interested in attending this “golden opportunity” to spread the message about FIRST, please email bbruneau@bcps.org and provide your team number, high school name and designate a primary and secondary point of contact.
